Ever wonder what life is really like in other parts of the world? What if you could experience it for yourself — without leaving Texas?
The Compassion Journey will help visitors connect with the realities of daily life for children growing up in extreme poverty around the world. The event includes an audio-guided trip through different developing-world environments. It also offers the chance for to share in short break-out style conversations to learn how your group is being affected by their experience.
Through the Compassion Journey, you’ll experience questions like:
*What do children in developing countries eat and how do they deal with food security?
*What types of things do they hope and pray for?
*What are their favorite activities? What games do they play?
*What does their school life consist of?
*What do their homes and rooms look like?
This event will ignite conversations, broaden worldviews and will offer solutions for how we can all help children facing difficult situations around the world.
